Day One – Safety, Hazards, and Work Practices

  • Electrical hazards and severity of injuries: Shock, Arc Flash, and Arc Blast.
  • Arc Flash causes and risk assessments.
  • Understanding Arc-Rated PPE for electrical safety.
  • Emergency Response and Safety Work Practices.
  • Arc-Flash hazard analysis and safety standards (NFPA 70E® & OSHA 29 CFR 1910)

Day Two – Safety Related Maintenance & Electrical Safety Programs

  • Requirements for electrical equipment including fuses, circuit breakers, and rotating equipment.
  • Special equipment: Batteries, lasers, and power electronics.
  • Electrical hazards and severity of injuries: Shock, Arc-Flash, and Arc-Blast.
